soniQfactory’s first tentetive steps were taken between 2003 and 2007, working on small projects at first, before the idea grew and my services were launched full time in 2009. The idea was to bring affordable video game sounds to your production, providing work on classic game tribute CDs, independent productions such as `Last Hope´ on Sega Dreamcast, and providing music for current games for nex-gen consoles and PC.

As I am often asked: I draw inspiration from many electronic genres, plus film & game scrores. I absolutely enjoy work by Vangelis, film composers Steve Jablonsky & John Murphy, game musicians Chris Hülsbeck, Kenichiro Fukui & Hitoshi Sakimoto and a variety of trance & progressive producers such as Armin van Buuren, Chicane, RMB and electronic virtuoso Magnus Birgersson aka Solar Fields of `Mirror’s Edge´ fame. With literally decades of gaming experience across all platforms and ears tuned to compose and produce fitting game melodies and audio, a wonderful mix, no?
